Warft Simmerdeis is located on the Eiderstedt peninsula - a romantic thatched-roof house on a terp that was first mentioned in books in 1796. My property is located on one of the most beautiful streets in Eiderstedt, which is lined with almost 50 thatched-roof houses, Haubargen and farmhouses, as well as variously cultivated fields and pastures with sheep, cows and horses. A great place to get away from city life and find peace and quiet. Guests are only welcome from the age of 10 (the property is natural and has some danger zones - the water is not enclosed by a fence) but dogs of all ages are welcome. By the way, "Simmerdeis" means "in summer" in old Frisian and I hope that you will feel that way at any time of the year - whether in spring, summer or winter - I am always open for you. There are three vacation apartments at Warft Simmerdeis: 1. the larger maisonette apartment (up to 4 people) on two levels with a large kitchen-living room with fireplace, bedroom and adjoining bathroom, guest WC and living room with sofa bed and garden terrace. 2. the first floor apartment (up to 4 people) with bedroom, living room area with pull-out bedroom, shower room, dining room with fireplace and separate kitchen, as well as a small private garden area with terrace. 3. the attic apartment (for couples or singles) where the sleeping and dining area with open kitchenette is separated by a room divider and the shower room is separate from the sleeping area. The attic apartment has an open gallery with piano, small library and chaise lounge. The 10,000 square meter garden has several garden areas with seating, so that all vacation guests can spread out well when all apartments are booked. Dogs are absolutely welcome, but they have the problem that they do not want to leave at the end of your departure time.

The apartment is on the first floor with its own staircase from the entrance. The dining area and kitchen are separated from the sleeping area by a stable-style room divider. Directly in front of the apartment is the gallery with piano and small library, belonging to the living area. The high-quality kitchen is fully equipped for longer stays, including a dishwasher and many kitchen tools. The English-style bathroom features underfloor heating, Victorian tiles, English ceramics and fittings. Hairdryer, shampoo, soap, and towels are provided. The bedroom has a 160 x 200 cm double bed and a smart TV. Fast, free Wi-Fi (fiber optic) is available. The park-like property is divided into several garden areas and is home to various bird species, chickens, and Ouessant sheep. The Little Canal House Simmerdeis is designed for 4 guests with 3 bedrooms in a two-level maisonette, located right on the canal. Perfect for singles, business travelers, or friends who prefer not to share a bedroom, it’s just a 3-minute walk from the market square. This historic home, renovated at the end of 2024, features a spacious kitchen-living area on the first floor with views of the canal and Treene. In the living area with Smart TV, there’s also a pull-out sofa bed in addition to the 3 bedrooms. The bathroom with walk-in shower is off the hallway. The proximity is there and connected by the attractive courtyard, but each unit also has its own outdoor area, so privacy is assured. The kitchens are well equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven, and all the usual kitchen tools needed for cooking, even for longer stays. The large canal house also has an extra yoga room with the typical equipment, which you can book for small yoga retreats or meditation courses or just for yourself for an extra charge (10 euros per day). The bathrooms are mainly equipped with walk-in showers and each bathroom has a hairdryer, make-up mirror, shower gel, shampoo & conditioner, soap, body lotion and towels in various sizes per person are of course also provided. All units are equipped with smart TVs so that you can watch series and a large selection of movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime on your personal account. Fast WiFi for home office stays and bed linen for each guest are of course available. Your landlady is a North Frisian herself and not far away if help is needed or there are any queries.
